In-Cab Scanning

IIn-Cab Scanningn-cab scanning allows us to eliminate wasted time and money on extra stops and paying fees to copy, scan, fax or mail documents. This end-to-end service allows drivers to scan and transmit documents from the cabs of their trucks back to the office, or directly into the customer’s system. In-cab scanning also improves customer satisfaction by reducing manual errors associated with re-typing important information, including trip and mileage reports, bills of lading, timesheets, receipts and other critical data.
Benefits passed onto customer:

  • Get proof of delivery in minutes instead of days
  • Acquire documents instantly

Netgraf by TMW Systems

NetgrafLT® is a real-time management tool used to minimize out-of-route miles and service failures. NetgrafLT allows management to view the entire fleet at a glance and then view the most granular detail of almost every aspect of a single trip. With a few clicks a driver manager can see all of their late or out of route trucks on the map. They can create a spreadsheet of that data. They can inspect the route a truck was supposed to take and the one they are actually taking. They can tell customer service when the truck will really be there based on parameters set in Trip Alert®. Load planners can know which trucks are available for a new load and when and where trucks will really be available in the future.

The following factors are considered in the determination of a trip:

Netgraf

  •  Capacity (single/team)
  •  Average vehicle speed
  •  Available DOT hours to drive
  •  Current location, date and time
  •  Planned route and schedule

NetgrafLT is updated periodically by receipt of the power unit position update from the mobile communications system. A power unit is determined to be out-of-route based on the Latitude and Longitude of its current position versus the planned route. Hours Late is based on the difference of our calculated ETA and the latest appointment window for the latest stop on the trip (not just the next stop).

Trip Alert by TMW Systems

Trip Alert® (Estimated Time of Arrival/Out-of-Route) is a real-time management tool used to minimize out-of-route miles and service failures. Trip Alert now includes Geofencing, which allows users to identify fences (boundaries) on a map and then incorporate alert rules with each fence. Trip Alert can automatically notify users of out-of-route and/or projected late power Refers to a tractor or truck units based on planned routing, as well as notify users if any of the geofence Allows you to define boundaries on a map. alert rules have been triggered.

Trip Alert® evaluates dispatched power units, flags any that are out-of-route or projected late, and immediately notifies the dispatcher or fleet manager.

The following factors are considered in the determination of a trip:

  • Capacity (single/team)
  • Average vehicle speed
  • Available DOT hours to drive
  • Current location, date and time
  • Planned route and schedule

Trip Alert® is triggered by receipt of the power unit position update from the mobile communications system. A power unit is determined to be out-of-route based on the Latitude and Longitude of its current position versus the planned route. Out-of-route miles are determined based on estimated miles driven according to the vehicle location history versus the planned miles. Late ETA is based on projected ETA verses scheduled ETA. User specific rules for miles out-of-route tolerance are used to set the threshold for notification. Geofence alerts can be configured to send an alert when a power enters a fenced location, leaves a fenced location, enters & leaves a fenced location, is inside a fenced location, or is outside a fenced location.

With one picture, you see the entire status of the fleet under load!

Trip Alert® is integrated to the NetgrafLT® system, allowing the user to display all power units running late, or out-of-route, as well as those power units on time and on route. You may display the planned route along with the current position for any power unit. All defined geofences Trip Alert can also be displayed in the NetgrafLT system.

Trip Alert® interfaces with Expert Fuel®, along with the mobile communications system to determine if a driver is out-of- route and/or is going to be late. The system provides immediate notification to a designated supervisor, driver manager or both via the dispatch system.

ExpertFuel by TMW Systems

IDSC ExpertFuel is the industry-leading fuel purchase optimization system from TMW Systems for carrier fleets of 50 trucks or more who purchase a substantial portion of their fuel on the road. Fuel purchase optimization takes a technically advanced approach to reduce your fuel expenses on a continual basis, integrating the process in to your daily dispatch operations to save tens or hundreds of thousands, even millions of dollars in fuel and out-of-route costs.

experfuelpricingmap

Negotiating a great Discount is Not Enough With regional and daily differences in wholesale fuel costs—rack price or rack average—even different truckstops in the same chain vary significantly in pricing along any given route and any given day. It’s impossible to realize maximum fuel purchase savings unless you buy at the lowest price chain locations on your route each day. Selecting the wrong fueling locations, even where you have discounts, means your drivers spend more than necessary on fuel each trip.

Playing Favorites can Cost you Money IDSC ExpertFuel uses daily, detailed wholesale and retail pricing feeds to determine a fueling plan for your trucks that yields the lowest overall trip expense. Pricing between truckstop chains in the same region can also differ greatly, so working with two or three vendors increases the chances for IDSC ExpertFuel to find more savings. Your lowest buy prices are balanced with the shortest practical driving route and your vehicle MPG to plan the fewest fuel stops to keep your savings high.

TGI

TGI_plus_U_2TGI’s SmartHawk 1 and SmartHawk 2 series, integrated with MyConnect Manager (MCM) provides the tools to increase productivity, utilization, and profitability, allowing transportation companies to gain a competitive advantage. In today’s ever changing market, with increased cost of fuel, labor and equipment, it is imperative that TGI’s customers gain value through our technology.

Whether your needs are trailer tracking or a full fledged asset management system TGI has solutions to help. We take pride in helping our customers become more profitable through the use of good 21st Century technology, best business practices and building a one on one relationship to last for years to come.TGIPolygon

Detention tracking is one of the powers of the TGI solutions. Detention is when a trailer has not physically moved. The unit has been static. Dwell, is when a trailer has moved but has not left a yard. This becomes very powerful for those client and operational groups that do lots of shunting but never leave the yard. To truly make our dwell and detention time powerful we allow for landmarks to be circles, squares and more importantly polygons.

The graphic below show how tight a landmark can be made to ensure the customer and terminal yards are truly reflective of your business
